About Me

My interest in design began in high school where I majored in Architecture at Benson Polytechnic High School in Portland Oregon.

As a graduate of the University of Oregon, with a Bachelor of Architecture, I began work as a draftsman, first in Portland and then in San Francisco.  After moving to California I met people working in the film industry and became interested in the visual design aspects of film making.  I pursued work as an Art Director in commercial effects in Los Angeles, and eventually worked my way into the animation business.  I have worked mostly in feature animation for Disney Studios, Warner Bros, Hanna Barbera, Sony, Fox, Paramount and Cartoon Network.  Over the years I have lived and worked on features in studios in Berlin and Madrid. 

 

Animated Features I have worked on include  Iron Giant, Klaus, Tarzan, The Princess & Frog, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Simpsons Movie, Hotel Transylvania 2, Wonder Park, Rumble, Nocturna, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
